Gregg Dudding was born in Norfolk, Virginia, but has lived in the Franconia, Virginia area for over 40 years.  He has been a Department of the Army employee for over 30 years and is an avid Civil War living historian.  Gregg has spent many years studying the War Between the States with emphasis on "Stonewall" Jackson, the 17th Virginia Infantry and now the Gray Ghost.  He conducts Mosby Confederacy Tours with his partner Don Hakenson for the Stuart-Mosby-Historical Society, has co-authored a paperback book about Colonel Mosby with Don.  Gregg has been a Civil War reenactor and living historian for over 12 years and is currently doing a first person impression of MG James L.
