but has
lived in the
Franconia,
Virginia
area for

years.
He has been
a Department
of the Army
employee for
over 30
years and is
an avid
Civil War
living
historian.
Gregg has
spent many
years
studying the
War Between
the States
with
emphasis on
"Stonewall"
Jackson, the
17th
Virginia
Infantry and
now the Gray
Ghost.
He conducts
Mosby
Confederacy
Tours with
his partner
Don Hakenson
for the Stuart-Mosby-Historical
Society, has
co-authored
a paperback
book about
Colonel
Mosby with
Don.
Gregg has
been a Civil
War
reenactor
and living
historian
for over 12
years and is
currently
doing a
first person
impression
of MG James
L. Kemper's
Quartermaster
"Major
Nelson
Weaver
Crisler".
He is also a
quarterly
speaker at
the Army
Management
Staff
College at
Fort Belvoir
talking
about the
life and
equipment of
the Civil
War
soldier.
